HIS LAWYERS NOTICE A MUST READ & BIGGEST SHOCK

On December 10th while going to work, I got one email on my cell phone, from one Mr. Kannan Ramanatha, apparently his lawyer, after reading the first few line, I felt like some one had opened my heart and put an atom bomb inside. I was shaken to my knees just after reading the first few line.

Here is what is the brief content of the legal notice.

• " The most important point of his legal notice says that, I Mr. Sriram Rangan is not even a Karate Instructor and only the Director of Rajaguru Martial Arts Academy.
  
  Wow, I do not know even what to say for this, after teaching Karate for 28 years, this man says I am not even a Karate master. Please see below the certificate issued by him.

• The Karate class in Canada is flourished because of Mr. Ravindran and his international fame and gold medalist only and nothing else.
• None of my hard work, investment, and dedication matters, I think in today's world if you just win a Gold medal you can have successful business, I guess I missed some thing that I put all this money and efforts in building this business for 15 years....
• It seems that we misused his non residence status and mismanaged the finance of the corporation to the fullest of our benefits. I also included my wife as a director of the company even thought the articles of incorporation allow it. It also seems that I mislead the gullible public and innocent children.
• Well if I misused his non residence status as he claims, then I should not have done the following.

1. Not applied for his work permit in 2005 through and got a 3 years visa for him to come to Canada. Please see the attached, and pay attention to who the letter is addressed too and the employer section of the second document. This is an extention LMo taken after he landed here in Toronto.

1. After he landed in Toronto airport and when Immigration did not allow him went personally and spoke to the immigration officer and got 48 hours, Mr. Senthil from Tamilar valikathi is the proof as he stood with me until Mr. Ravindran came out side. He witnessed what I did all that time.
2. If I wanted to mismanaged the the schools finance, I would not have an account with champions way and all the parent will attest and the bank proof that every parents paid their students fees through pre-authorized payment and no cash was collected. While most of the other Asian school conduct classes in the basement and collect cash and account it, I have paid my GST and filed my taxes until 2006 and accounted for every thing. The proof is the parents if you go and ask them how they paid their fees to me while I was there.
3. I would like the public to come out with solid proof how i mislead them, in what way, I do not want people to just come out and make stupid accusation that baseless with out any proof. i also want students to come forward with solid proof how I mislead them? I am interested to know this.

• Mr. Ravindran claims that I have depleted the income of RMAA to zero and stole all the money and bought properties in Ontario and that we both, me and wife have been committing criminal activities all this years and he is aware of them for the last 12 years. ( please note that this legal notice was sent December 2008 so 12 years goes back to 1998). He also goes to say we have made millions of dollars through Karate and stole it all.
• First I would like ask that Mr. Ravindran who has 50% share in RMAA show me a proof of 10 cents investment. I am not talking about a dollar. Ok now he will come back and say that he gave his name, fine, now no one knows Mr. Ravindran in Canada, in order to create a name brand, his name has been promoted by me, money invested in the school by me, property bought and investment and my personal house was kept on lien by me and my wife.What kind of criminal activities have i committed? I please request that Mr. Ravindran contact RCMP immediately and start an investigation on me ASAP.
• I was responsible to build his class in Mumbai. In Canada for the last 15 years, remember what he always said, i am his soul, he has also said to many people that he wants to die in my lap and that to get a student like Sriram is a blessing. He has also said he is the one raised me, Now, let us be real, he know that I am thief for the last 12 years, HE RAISED ME UP? Can any one else see the double standards statement here or is it just me?
• I named my son Raj after him; I paid for his mother 's funeral; I sponsored him to Canada; & in spite of knowing me and my wife are criminal, he did not say any thing all this time? Why? One of my student asked and his response, if he had said any thing at that time, he would have not been in Canada now.

So what does that say about this man? Now please any one tell me, how many karate masters do you know personally who have made millions of dollars teaching Karate? Please tell me I really want to go and see them and learn few things of how they do that?

• Karate is an Art where you share your true knowledge to students and help them grow as a person, karate is a way of life in perfecting oneself.

Mr. Ravindran goes on to say that if with in seven days if I do not hand over all of the financial details to him ( which he already has after two months of his coming here, bank access card ( again I gave him access to them as well as a partner 2 months after his arrival and other things, and goes on to say that if I did not give them all with in seven days he will not hesitate to file CRIMINAL CHARGES AGAINST ME.
What a strong word to use on the person who has dedicated 28 years of his life, Criminal charges, this is the person on whose lap he wanted to die, this is the person who has been responsible for you to come to Canada?

My lawyers did respond, as follows,

"We have received your notice and there is nothing comment. Please proceed to court and file charges and we will defend ourselves in the court of law."

Since December 2nd that the notice was prepared, I am writing this blog on April 19th, more then 4 months, I ask why Mr. Ravindran has not gone to court ? And I want him to go to court, so that the truth comes out.
What is even more hurtful is that Guru sends a legal notice to his student that too a person who has lived and served him for 28 years! What kind of person will do this? He completely forgot our relationship of what we have gone through? Only a person who has no remorse feelings what so ever can do this and say all of the below. Since this, he has called me a lair, a Thief, a fraud a womanizer to parents and young students.

A guru, a spiritual man who claims to touch people's lives, teaches people to attain self perfection and a man who calls himself a master of this art has been a disgrace to the martial arts community.

He lives a double standard life. Since I have stared to speak to many other students from India have come up openly and spoken about the way he has behaved and treated them in India. seems that as long as you say yes to him you are his soul and wonderful student, bu the movement you question him you are thief, fraud and all the other name you will find in the books and the ones you can not find.

What took me 15 years to build has been destroyed in 6 months after his visit, an unit that was envying by all had been divided for one man's selfish reasons.
